AMMAN—
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed its "deepest"
condolences to the government and people of the United States over the victims
of
Hurricane Ian, which struck Florida and resulted in a number of deaths and
injuries, and caused extensive material damage, according to the Jordan News
Agency, Petra.

In a statement released on Saturday, the
ministry's official spokesperson Haitham Abu Al-Foul, affirmed the Kingdom's
solidarity with United States, expressing sincere condolences to the victims'
families and wished the injured a a speedy recovery.
The spokesperson also called on Jordanian citizens
in Florida and the areas expected to be under its effect, the need to exercise
caution and comply with public safety instructions issued by the US authorities.
