While testifying Obaidat said that employees at the
Health Ministry are not directly responsible for the supply of oxygen or any
deficits that may occur at hospitals.
He added that common practice holds the head of a
governorate’s health directorate responsible for these matters, noting that the
minister is not required to intervene to such a degree.
The court has so far heard the testimonies of 40 out of the prosecutor
general’s 49 witnesses, in addition to nine experts, pushing the total to 66,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
