AMMAN — Four commissioners of Aqaba
Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) resigned on Monday, according to Hala
News.
Commissioner of Economic Affairs Sharhabeel Madi said
that commissioner of administrative, finance, and customs affairs Mahmoud
Khalifat, commissioner of environment Sulaiman Al-Najdat, and commissioner of
the city Abdullah Yassin all submitted their resignations.

Madi said that the commissioners had resigned to allow
others to enrich the ASEZA with their expertise.
A source claimed that
four new commissioners are set to be appointed in the next two days.
