The clinic offers free consultations and treatments to GAM employees and office visitors, aiming to support their journey toward quitting smoking. Services include specialized medical tests to measure carbon monoxide levels, blood pressure, and blood sugar, ensuring comprehensive health support. These efforts are part of the municipality’s executive plan to combat smoking by 2025.
Deputy Mayor of Amman Mohammad Qeisi highlighted that the new clinic reflects GAM’s dedication to fostering a healthier urban environment by addressing smoking-related health risks. "This initiative aligns with our vision to prioritize health for all citizens and create a supportive framework for positive lifestyle changes," Qeisi stated.
The health exhibition held alongside the inauguration featured advanced smoking cessation treatments and tools, alongside educational brochures distributed by specialized institutions to raise awareness about tobacco's dangers.
