GAM studies proposal to ban objections to traffic tickets cost

AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM)said it was studying a proposal to revoke the ability for people to object to the cost of a traffic ticket, Jo24 reported. GAM clarified that this is not a proposal to stop people from objecting to the ticket itself, as that would require an amendment to the Traffic Act. Director of GAM’s Media Department, Nasser Rahamneh stated that the proposal was merely to overturn the objection to the value of the ticket.
