The session, attended by representatives from both the public and private sectors, focused on adopting digital innovations and advancing the digitization of financial services amidst the global shift toward e-governance.

According to a statement from the organizers, the session underscored Jordan's commitment to enhancing digital governance and aligning with the economic modernization vision, which emphasizes accelerating government digital transformation through partnerships with the private sector.

Discussions highlighted the necessity of digital transformation in keeping pace with the global encrypted economy and building trust in emerging technologies. Topics included the multifaceted uses of artificial intelligence and modern technology, as well as evaluating the benefits and risks of the encrypted world to ensure optimal security for individuals and companies.

Participants emphasized the critical role of Arab governments in leveraging their resources for digital transformation, particularly in financial services, and attracting both regional and international investments to strengthen Jordan's position as a leading hub in this field.

Hani Al-Asfar, Chairman of the GCB Board of Directors, highlighted the importance of encouraging Arab youth to embrace the digital economy and access job opportunities, emphasizing the need for skills that address the ongoing technological revolution.

Al-Asfar, speaking remotely, noted that the GCB platform, as the first Arab digital project, aims to bridge the digital and monetary worlds in a manner that serves Arab societies while enhancing user confidence in digital transformation.

Ali Shiboub, Vice Chairman of the GCB Board of Directors, pointed out the global technological revolution affecting all sectors and the necessity for companies to adapt, particularly in the economic and production cycles.

Shiboub stressed the need for a comprehensive review of existing systems and legislation in Arab countries to facilitate the transition from a traditional to a digital economy.
