AMMAN – On Thursday, the government decided to raise gasoline and diesel prices while keeping kerosene's price stable during the coming month, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The Petroleum Derivatives Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting to determine local prices for petroleum derivatives for March. The committee reviewed global crude oil and petroleum product prices during February and compared them to January.
Following the application of the pricing equation based on global prices for all petroleum derivatives, the following adjustments were made:
• The price of 90-octane gasoline increased by 20 fils/liter, reaching 930 fils/liter
• The price of 95-octane gasoline increased by 20 fils/liter and is now at 1170 fils/liter.
• The diesel price rose by 20 fils/liter, reaching 740 fils/liter.
Additionally, the committee decided to maintain the price of kerosene for March at 620 fils/liter and keep the cost of a household 12.5kg gas cylinder unchanged at JD7 dinars/cylinder.
