Dr. Al-Hammouri emphasized that this heroic steadfastness thwarted repeated attempts by the occupation to displace Palestinians from their lands, occupy the strip, impose impossible conditions, and continue the unjust blockade.

He congratulated the Palestinian people on the truce agreement, expressing hope for a comprehensive end to the war.

He expressed deep gratitude to the Initiative's global partners and extended special thanks to Jordanian healthcare professionals for their efforts in supporting the resilience of Gaza's residents.

These efforts included dispatching volunteer medical teams, providing medical aid, rehabilitating hospitals, launching numerous humanitarian projects, implementing remote medical education programs, coordinating the admission of Gaza medical students into universities in friendly countries, and evacuating dozens of patients, particularly children.

Dr. Al-Hammouri acknowledged the role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan—its King, government, and people—in supporting the Palestinian cause.

He emphasized Jordan's pivotal role in delivering aid to Gaza and praised King Abdullah II's diplomatic and political contributions to advancing the Palestinian cause through political efforts and humanitarian initiatives.

He added that the "Gaza Health Initiative," launched in October 2023, has become a global model for humanitarian and health cooperation.

The initiative currently includes more than 50 organizations worldwide, working in unison to support Gaza's healthcare sector and rebuild its infrastructure.

These efforts involve repairing healthcare facilities, constructing hospitals, and developing sustainable health and humanitarian projects in the region.

Dr. Al-Hammouri concluded his remarks by affirming the Initiative's ongoing commitment to reconstructing Gaza's healthcare sector and fostering collaboration among humanitarian and health organizations to ensure a dignified life for Palestinians.

He noted that the Initiative is entering a new phase that will focus on extensive efforts to rebuild and restore the healthcare sector, which has been severely damaged by the occupation forces, including the targeting, arrest, and abuse of healthcare workers.

This steadfast support reflects the unwavering dedication to enhancing healthcare and humanitarian conditions in Gaza, despite the numerous challenges faced.
