A top priorityThe Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs, and
Holy Places have identified its anti-extremism strategy as a top priority for
2023–2025.
Within its budget for the coming year,
“caring for Jordan’s youth and working to protect them from destructive and
extremist ideologies” is one of the main items.
The ministry will approach this priority by
holding seminars at universities and schools and supporting and training
volunteers at youth centers across the Kingdom on how to counteract extremist
