AMMAN — The government has allocated some JD1.5 million from its 2023 budget to support political parties, which currently number 56, according to data from the Parties Registry Directorate of the Independent Election Commission, Khaberni reported.

This money was incorporated in the budget of the Independent Election Commission, as stipulated by the constitutional amendments approved by Parliament in 2021.
