Gov’t amends Student Support Fund for 2024

AMMAN – On Thursday, the Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh, approved a modified system for the Student Support Fund in Jordanian public universities for the year 2024, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.اضافة اعلان

This amendment aims to maintain the legal status of centers established for scholarship students, loan beneficiaries, and students enrolled in universities before the provisions of the Student Support Fund System (Law No. 81 of 2023) took effect.

Under this modification, the provisions of the Student Support Fund System (Law No. 114 of 2018) for Jordanian public universities will be applied. The government will also work on creating a new system for the fund, focusing on directing support to students in need.
