Bilbisi said on Monday that the tests are being
distributed to the governorates, including crossing points and border posts, to
be used for suspected cases.
He reasserted that Jordan is free of
cholera. He pointed
out that the concerned authorities continually examine water and food to ensure
the health and safety of Jordanians.
The news outlet quoted an “informed government source” as saying that
Jordan has begun taking precautionary measures against cholera, which is
spreading in neighboring countries. He did not elaborate.
