AMMAN — The government announced a reduction in the selling
price of 90-octane gasoline to JD0.900 per liter instead of JD0.950 per liter
and 95-octane gasoline to JD1.140 per liter instead of JD1.185 per liter for
the month of June.

It also reduced the price of diesel and while maintaining the
price of kerosene prices.
The price of diesel will be lowered to 715 fils per liter,
down from the previous price of 755 fils per liter.
Stabilization of kerosene price
Furthermore, the government has decided to maintain the
price of kerosene at 620 fils per liter for the upcoming month of June.
Additionally, the price of gas cylinders will remain unchanged at JD7 per
cylinder.
Committee meeting and pricing equation
These decisions were reached following a meeting of the oil
derivatives pricing committee on Wednesday. The committee reviewed global
prices of crude oil and oil derivatives for the month of May and compared them
to the prices from the previous month of April.
Applying the pricing equation based on global prices,
adjustments were made to the prices of various oil derivatives.
