AMMAN — The Council of Ministers, chaired by Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh, decided during a meeting on Tuesday to approve measures to appoint 100 employees to the Jerusalem Awqaf Department, Ammon News reported. The decision is part of Jordan’s continuous support for the Jerusalem Awqaf Department, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, in the context of efforts to care for Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Islamic and Christian holy sites in East Jerusalem.
