‘Gov’t considering no-appointment vaccination for those registered to platform’

AMMAN — Ministry of Health secretary general for technical and administrative affairs, Mahmoud Zreiqat, said on Tuesday that the government is considering doing without vaccination appointments, and allowing all those who are registered to the vaccination platform to receive the vaccine at any vaccination center to get their shot.اضافة اعلان

During an interview on Hala Radio, Zreiqat noted that the government is aiming towards raising the average of administered shots daily to 100,000, and raising it to 150,000 daily jabs in the next stage, adding that at the envisioned rate, the inoculated population might reach 4 million by the end of June, ensuring a safe summer.

The secretary general indicated that turnout from public sector employees for the campaign to vaccinate them, launched Monday, reached 90 percent, which he described as “excellent”.
