Gov't "finalizing" 5G licensing, says minister

AMMAN—The government is in the "final stages" of licensing 5G services in cooperation with telecom companies, said Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmed Hanandeh on Saturday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

In a panel discussion organized by the Jordan Economic Forum, the minister said that a stimulus package will be presented to the telecom sector, including extending licenses, restructuring revenue sharing models, and discounts on any new frequencies that telecom operators may need, in addition to choosing the optimal licensing model.
