AMMAN — The
Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said on Wednesday that it is following up with the 500
Jordanian students currently studying at Sudanese universities in coordination with
Jordan's Foreign Ministry in Amman.

TV that 150 of the students are undergraduates, while 350 are studying at the
postgraduate level.
No evacuation planCurrently, there is no plan in place to
evacuate Jordanian students from Sudan, he said. Meanwhile, no decision will be
made related to their academic status.
If the Sudanese higher education authorities decide to allow students to study remotely, "we will take decisions that are in the best interests of the Jordanian students studying there”.
However, Khatib noted that if the

A call to avoid hot-spotsThe ministry called on all Jordanian
students in Sudan to avoid hot-spots of the escalations as much as possible out
of concern for their lives. It also urged the students to maintain contact with
the Jordanian Embassy in Khartoum.
