AMMAN — Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Musa Al-Maaytah said that the government will be the party to draft the regulation governing the National Security Council, which was established under the recent constitutional amendments. He added that there will be another constitutional step that will be taken before the council becomes functional, according to Ad-Dustour News.اضافة اعلان

Maaytah said that the recent constitutional amendments will be coupled with legislative amendments, including regulations and instructions that are aligned with the Constitution, in particular the election and parties laws. He also indicated that the Constitutional Court Law will be amended to align with the new constitutional amendments, indicating that the government is working on these amendments and will announce them in due time.

The recent amendments will stipulate the introduction of changes to the Lower House and Senate bylaws, including for example changes to the confidence vote, which the two chambers would have to work on, according to Maaytah.
