AMMAN — The government has issued
new instructions for granting investor cards of all categories — A, B, and C — and cards for
family members of those holding category A and B investor cards, Hala News
reported.

These instructions come in accordance with
Investment Environment Law No. 21 of 2022.
Card benefitsThe investor cards act as letters of recommendation issued
by the
Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and accredited by all
ministries and government departments. They give holders the right to own
property, be issued car driving licenses, and purchase custom-free vehicles,
among other benefits.
Through
issuing investor cards, the
Ministry of Investment aims to simplify and facilitate procedures for investors at the official
departments and agencies. The cards give priority to holders in completing
procedures with public departments and authorities, and ensure that
high-quality services are provided. They also simplify procedures for
investment projects.
Additionally,
the ministry aims to facilitate investors’ entry and movement through the Kingdom’s border crossings and airports,
providing the necessary services for them at their arrival.
