The government’s new communication, which falls under Defense Order No. 19 of 2020, states that the distance between tables should be two meters, at a minimum.
Based on the new communication, malls, shops, banks, telecommunication companies, restaurants, hotels, coffee houses, and water and electricity offices will only allow people given clearance by the “
Green Sanad” application— which would prove a user is vaccinated.
Non-abiding facilities and venues could be subjected to a JD1,000 for the first violation, JD3,000 for the second, and JD5,000 for the third. A fourth violation would lead to the shutdown of the facility.
The communication will go into effect Monday, October 18, 2021.
