AMMAN —
Minister of Transport Maher Abu Samen on Monday discussed the problem of grounded aircrafts at
Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) with Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission Chief
Commissioner Haitham Misto and representatives of the Airport International
Group.

Abu Samen stressed the need to find appropriate
solutions to end this problem in cooperation with partners from government and
security departments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister was also briefed on the
progress of the
airport's maintenance and development operations, which aim to
achieve a higher level of service, according to a Transport Ministry statement.
