Gov’t to put bins at tourist sites

AMMAN — Roughly 4,000 waste containers will be distributed to tourist sites and public parks across the country by the Ministry of Environment, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.اضافة اعلان

Ministry spokesperson Ahmad Obeidat said on Saturday that the distribution campaign began at Sports City in Amman.

The ministry’s efforts are part of a national environmental plan that includes providing more garbage bins and dumpsters to tourist and archeological sites to limit littering.
