According to Al Ghad newspaper, Mubaidin stressed that the Jordanian
government, from the onset of the war in Gaza, had been committed to
safeguarding the freedom of expression according to the law and that these
individuals had plans that
posed risks to national security.
“About a million Jordanians expressed their national stances
and condemnation of the
war on Gaza through demonstrations and rallies in all
governorates while upholding a high standard of national spirit and respect for
the law and public and private properties,” he said.
Investigations are ongoing, and these individuals are
unrelated to the popular solidarity situation or the demonstrations organized
by various political forces.
