Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Al-Kharabsheh said
that the government will revise the fixed tax on oil and oil derivatives that
is currently in force, according to Jo24.

Kharabsheh said that the government is awaiting the results of a
ministry study of the prices before taking an appropriate decision in the
matter, adding that the government took the decision to maintain fuel prices
unchanged during January and February despite the rise in global oil prices,
but the Brent crude reached over $120 and the tax hardly covers the cost in the
current stage.
