Group using girls for begging arrested

AMMAN — The Anti-Vagrancy Department at the Ministry of Social Development arrested a group of people who have been using girls for begging purposes in one of northern governorates.اضافة اعلان

The ministry stated on Wednesday that one of the detainees has a previous criminal record comprising 103 crimes, including drug promoting and trafficking, and was subject to house arrest. The department also arrested a beggar who turned out to be wanted by the State Security Court and another person who was in possession of narcotics.

The ministry warned against dealing with such groups and advised the public to not tolerate their actions, adding that those who want to help should donate to official centers.
