According to Al-Rai daily, Shorouq Hilal revealed that the application now offers approximately 400 services for its users.

The government has set ambitious targets in its public sector update plan, launched in July 2022, said Hilal. The objective is to achieve 3.5 million activated digital identities and complete the automation of all government services by 2025.

This digital transformation aims to enhance efficiency and productivity in government entities by improving the quality of services provided.

Updates and service expansion
Hilal emphasized that the application is regularly updated to meet user needs and accommodate the addition of new services.

The availability of certain services to users depends on the readiness of the institutions responsible for them, she said. Consequently, some services may appear as "activated soon" during browsing.

Diverse services
The Sanad application currently offers a wide range of services, including document inquiries, access to personal information, and electronic government services provided by ministries and official institutions.

Additionally, users can conveniently make payments for government and private sector services by linking their Sanad application to the "e-Fawateercom" portal. This portal facilitates various payment methods, including bank accounts and credit cards.

According to the ministry, individuals can activate their digital identity for free by visiting any of the Sanad stations spread across the Kingdom.

These stations aim to provide accessible locations for users to complete the activation process conveniently.
