AMMAN— After receiving the approval of His Majesty
King Abdullah to enter into Jordan, the Hamas’ political bureau chief, Ismail
Haniyeh, and its former leader, Khaled Meshaal, arrived in Jordan on Saturday
to participate in the funeral of the movement's leader, Ibrahim Ghosheh.
During the
visit Haniyeh, reiterated the Hamas’ rejection of projects to resettle
Palestinians abroad at Jordan's expense, according to Al-Ghad news.
He also
thanked King Abdullah, the government, parliament, and popular forces in the
Kingdom for Jordan's humanitarian gesture to allow him to participate in the
funeral.
