The Council of Ministers is holding its fifth monthly session in Mafraq on Tuesday, chaired by Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, with the participation of elected bodies in the governorate. During the session, the government will present its development vision for the region.
اضافة اعلانPrior to chairing the session, Hassan inaugurated the new Mafraq Municipality building, which includes facilities to serve citizens, parking spaces for hundreds of vehicles to ease congestion in the commercial center, and a public park. Additionally, a comprehensive government services center will be established nearby.
Hassan also visited industrial companies in King Hussein Development Zone in Mafraq, highlighting their success stories in creating job opportunities. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to attracting further investments to the development zone.
Minister of Government Communication and government spokesperson Mohammad Al-Momani stated that "despite the challenges Mafraq has faced since 2011 due to hosting a large number of Syrian refugees, the governorate remains promising for investment, and the development zone's figures are encouraging."
