Khattab blamed this on climate change, and added that despite the
less than average amount of rainfall, the Kingdom has witnessed many air masses
moving through in recent weeks.
However, Khattab said that it is not yet time to judge the
strength of the next rainy season, as the rainy season extends until mid-May.
He expressed his optimism about the
upcoming winter season, adding that the area of Ras Munif had seen the largest
share of rainfall in the past couple of days with rain reaching 4mm.
