In the Al-Jouda area, Al-Ayesh inspected the renovation and rehabilitation works of the elderly guest house, affiliated with the White Family Association, which King Abdullah had ordered to be carried out as part of the royal initiatives.
Al-Ayesh, accompanied by Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa and the Capital Governor Yasser Al-Adwan, listened to an explanation about the maintenance works in progress, after which the house will be fully furnished with all the necessary equipment for elderly care services, with the aim of re-housing them as soon as possible.
In the Al-Muwaqar district, Al-Ayesh also visited a project for the creation of a public park for the benefit of the area's residents, which had been ordered by His Majesty during a meeting with the tribal leaders and dignitaries of the Central Badia.
Accompanied by the governor, Rania Sabih, executive director of the Zaha Cultural Center, and the head of the Al-Muwaqar Municipality, Awad Al-Jbour, Al-Ayesh toured the project’s facilities, which are being implemented as part of the "Safe Gardens Initiative" in cooperation with the Zaha Cultural Center.
He was informed about the project's progress, which is 60% complete and is expected to be finalized within two months. The park will include various facilities for all family members, with green spaces, safe play areas for children, and a walking track.
In the Al-Mustanda area, Al-Ayesh visited the Zaha Cultural Center, where he was briefed on the educational, training, recreational, and community programs it provides. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the sustainability and high quality of services offered by the center.
The center, which was inaugurated by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah in early 2018, includes multi-purpose halls, training rooms, activities for children, educational agriculture spaces, and a public park with safe playgrounds, a five-a-side football pitch, and an administration building.
In a press statement, Al-Ayesh stated that the royal initiatives projects, which are being implemented across various regions of the Kingdom, meet the priority needs of citizens in different sectors and enhance the developmental and service aspects in these areas, taking into account the local priorities and competitive advantages of each region.
He added that these initiatives, spread across various governorates, have contributed to the development of local communities and improved the quality of services provided to citizens.
Al-Ayesh emphasized that these projects, executed in collaboration with government institutions, civil society organizations, and the private sector, complement government projects and programs, aiming to provide the needs of various social groups, particularly youth, women, and children.
