Speaking during a meeting of the
Lower House Administrative Committee to discuss the new restructuring of government
hospitals, he said that the restructuring aims to optimally deploy medical
staff, with the aim of distributing tasks and responsibilities and reducing
administrative flabbiness, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
The
ministry manages 640 health centers, 14
health directorates, and 30 hospitals, Hawari said. “This is the reason for
this restructuring — to organize cadres and distribute them in the right
positions and improve performance."
New hospitals, trainingLast year, he said, the
ministry opened six hospitals with a capacity of more than 600 beds.
A JD1-million budget for training at the
Ministry of Health also saw the training of 5,000 medical, nursing, and administrative
