During the closing session of the sixth
Conference of the
Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC), Hawari underlined
key strategies to improve the quality of health services locally and globally
based on lessons learned following the COVID-19 pandemic. It is important, he
noted, to activate the role of institutions, such as the HCAC, to ensure the
implementation of quality upgrade programs.
The session, held via teleconferencing
technology, tackled several topics, including strategies and measures to
improve the quality of post-pandemic health services, addressing the burden
that health workers shoulder using World Health Organization guidelines, and
means to improve decision-makers' access to data.
The two-day conference brought together
speakers, healthcare professionals, and decision-makers from Jordan, the UAE,
Lebanon, Egypt, India, the US, Ireland, Australia, Romania, Canada, and
Argentina.
The HCAC is a non-profit organization that
is committed to upgrading health care services in Jordan and the region by
working side-by-side governmental and private entities.
