AMMAN — In a significant development, the
Ministry of Health and the
Jordan Medical Association (JMA) have joined forces
by signing an agreement on Sunday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The agreement outlines the participation
of 500 JMA-registered doctors in the nationwide vaccination campaign, as well
as their service provision at healthcare facilities until the end of the year.
During the signing ceremony,
Minister of Health Firas Hawari highlighted the benefits of the agreement. He emphasized
that it will streamline the digitization and management of the vaccination
program across all regions of the Kingdom, ensuring a more efficient and
organized approach.
The collaboration between the Ministry
and the JMA, funded by the
Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship,
aligns with the Ministry's participatory approach across its different areas of
operation, positively impacting the
quality of health services delivered to
citizens and residents, added Hawari.
Ziad Zoubi, the head of the
Jordan Medical Association, expressed gratitude to the Ministry for involving doctors
in the crucial vaccination campaign. He emphasized the significance of
utilizing their expertise and support at health centers.
Zoubi also stressed the importance of
maintaining accurate electronic records of vaccinations, underscoring the need
for efficient documentation and tracking of immunization efforts.
