AMMAN — A slight rise in temperatures is expected on
Friday, as hot conditions prevail in most parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan
Meteorological Department (JMD) said.

Scorching weather conditions are expected in the Dead
Sea, the Jordan Valley, and the port city of Aqaba, with northwesterly and moderate
winds.
The weather department called on the public to avoid direct exposure to the sun
in order to avoid sunstrokes, namely, during noon hours.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 35°C and a low
of 25°C at night.
Highs in the port city of Aqaba will spike to 43°C during the day, sliding to
29°C at night.
