AMMAN — The Jordanian Meteorological Department (JMD) has warned of the danger
of sun exposure as the Kingdom braces for the
heatwave to continue over the
next four days. Temperatures are reported to be 4 or 5 degrees higher than
average for this time of year, with moderate south-westerly and north-westerly
winds forecast for Monday and Tuesday, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Temperatures in
Amman will range between 37°C and 26°C, while in Aqaba,
the temperature will reach a maximum of 43°C.
A slight drop in temperature has been forecast for Sunday, with
temperatures climbing back up in the following days, remaining particularly hot
in the mountain heights and plains, according to JMD.
