During night hours, the downpour gradually intensifies in the
Kingdom's northern and central areas, which may be sometimes accompanied by thunder
with westerly active wind, causing dust in the desert areas, the JMD added,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
In its report, the JMD warns of the danger of slippery roads in
areas experiencing rainfall, and the risk of low horizontal visibility due to
the formation of fog, especially over highlands and dust in desert areas, as
well as torrential rains during night in valleys and low-lying areas in the
Kingdom's northern and central regions.
The minimum and maximum
temperatures in Amman range between 2-9 degrees Celsius, in the Dead Sea 9-18,
and in the Gulf of Aqaba 11-19 degrees Celsius.
