AMMAN— Hakim Al-Hindi, head of the Jordan Hotels Association
said on Friday that hotel occupancy across the Kingdom increased during the weekend, Al-Mamlaka TV
reported.
Hotel occupancy
in the Amman reached 65 percent during the weekend, while in the Dead Sea it
reached 71 percent, in Petra it reached 52 percent, and 94 percent in Aqaba,
according to statistics published by Al-Mamlaka.
Hindi added
that the high rates of hotel reservations in Aqaba increased due to two
concerts which are slated to take place in this weekend.
