The results will be sent via text messages to students’ mobile phone numbers and will also be available on the Directorate of Scholarships' website.
The ministry explained that 70% of all applicants who met the requirements have been selected to benefit from the scholarships and loans, with a total of 53,132 students out of 75,748 applicants.
The scholarships included all eligible undergraduate students, offering full or partial scholarships, or loans, in 43 districts across the Kingdom. Additionally, students in the intermediate diploma program received 100% partial scholarships in all 56 districts of the Kingdom.
Ministry spokesperson, Muhannad Al-Khatib, stated that the ministry has given utmost care to studying and addressing all electronic objections submitted by students to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and fairness.
The total number of students who submitted objections was 10,433.
These objections were divided into two categories: the first category included 999 humanitarian cases, which are not considered objections but reflect the nature of the requests.
The second category included 9,434 different objections, but the actual objections that were verified with documents and required a reassessment of the student's situation amounted to 1,595 requests.
Students can access the Directorate of Scholarships’ website to view the results at the link: www.dsamohe.gov.jo.
The ministry also mentioned that 10,611 students who applied for scholarships and loans and received assistance from the National Aid Fund were granted 100% scholarships and loans.
Al-Khatib emphasized that the deadline for completing the procedures for benefiting from the scholarships and loans mentioned above is by the end of the official working day on Tuesday, March 4.
To ensure the highest standards of transparency, Al-Khatib clarified that each student can view their data, the points they earned, and the names and points of students selected for the scholarships and loans in their respective districts. These results are final, and no further objections will be accepted, as the objection period has already closed.
He added that starting from next Tuesday morning, all students selected for full or partial scholarships or loans must log in to the results link using their national ID number and the password they created when submitting their application to complete the procedures.
Yesterday, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Azmi Muhafza provided an overview that included general figures on the results of the domestic scholarships and loans provided by the University's Student Support Fund for the 2024-2025 academic year, emphasizing the government’s commitment to increasing the number of beneficiaries as outlined in the ministerial statement and the budget statement.
