AMMAN — During the past 24 hours, field patrols and traffic control
teams dealt were active in addressing various violations. Among these actions,
the most notable incident involved the apprehension of a
private freight vehicle driver who was found smoking a hookah while driving on the roading
connecting from Irbid to Amman.

Simultaneously, in the realm of highway traffic monitoring,
an officer from the Operations Room of the Directorate of External Patrols
reported on the same day that both field teams and
automated surveillance systems diligently handled various violations and incidents. Notably, these
efforts included intercepting vehicles traveling at speeds ranging from 100 to
213 km/h and 90 to 199 km/h within the
Azraq region, Addustour reported. Prompt
measures were undertaken to address these issues, and legal actions were
pursued against the violators.
The aforementioned private freight vehicle driver, along
with the vehicle, was subsequently directed to the appropriate
security center to undergo the necessary legal procedures.
