AMMAN — The
latest weather maps indicate that the
Levant region, including Jordan, is expected to be affected by a warm air mass,
resulting in a gradual
increase in temperatures starting from Monday and
throughout the current week.

Temperatures will remain around their usual averages on
Sunday, with typical
summer weather during the day in various regions of the
kingdom and
pleasant nights. However, temperatures will begin to rise during
the current week starting from Monday, September 4, but the
weather will remain typically summery during the day in mountainous areas, Al-Saa News reported.
Temperatures will continue to rise on Tuesday and Wednesday,
making the weather relatively hot in most regions and very hot in the desert,
Jordan Valley,
Dead Sea, and
Aqaba, where temperatures will exceed their usual
averages by several degrees Celsius.
However, with the weekend approaching, indicators suggest
that the hot air mass may approach and possibly dominate the kingdom, leading
to hot weather in all regions. The
maximum temperatures in Amman and Jordanian
cities will reach the upper thirties Celsius at the end of the week,
approaching the mid-forties Celsius in the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and the Jordan
Valley.
