AMMAN- Jordan news agency, Petra, reported that on Wednesday
the kingdom gradually will be affected by a hot air mass, causing a slight
increase in temperatures, according to the
Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

The hot airwave will bring relatively hot conditions in
highs and plains, and hot conditions in Badia, the Jordan valley, the Dead Sea,
and Aqaba. With the appearance of high clouds in the south of the kingdom.
The weather department warned against standing under direct
sunlight for extended periods, especially at noon.
Toward Thursday, the impact of the hot air mass will
intensify with mercury levels climbing up to 5-6 degrees above their seasonal
average, bringing hot conditions in most regions, while it will bring scorching
conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the forecasters said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman will range
between 36 - 22 degrees Celsius, in the Dead Sea 40-28, and in the Gulf of
Aqaba 40-29 degrees Celsius.
