AMMAN — The Kingdom on Sunday will continue to be affected by a relatively hot air mass, pushing temperatures up to become a few degrees above annual average, the Jordan Meteorological Department (
JMD) said in its daily brief.

The JMD warned against direct exposure to sunlight in the afternoon, mainly in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and
Aqaba, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
On Monday and Tuesday, similar weather conditions are expected, with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD predicted.
In Amman and other highlands, temperatures will range between 34°C and 30°C. In the afternoon, temperatures will slide to 22°C and 18°C in the southern highlands. In the city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 41°C and a low of 28°C.
