Health and Environment Committee MP Tayseer Krishan confirmed that the

Krishan added that the committee has a plan of action as the country
enters the recovery stage from the pandemic. He stated that hospital and
healthcare workers are exhausted, and said that the healthcare sector needs to
be revitalized and returned its normal state through the training of doctors
and other health workers.
Krishan said that the other issue that the committee intends to follow up
on is the file of the six field hospitals that will be closed. The committee
will look into the fate of the hospitals, the medical devices and equipment
which cost the state treasury millions of dinars, and the workers that were
trained to work in them.
Krishan also said that the committee will also discuss the medical tourism
file, which has noticeably declined, noting Jordan’s annual income from medical
tourism was JD1 billion.
