Amman – The Financial Committee in the House of Representatives, chaired by Dr. Nimer Al-Sulayhat, held a consultative meeting today, Thursday, with the Jordanian Banks Association and the Jordanian Businessmen Association as part of the discussions on the draft general budget law for the fiscal year 2025.

Al-Sulayhat stated during the meeting, which was attended by the representative of the Businessmen Association, Eng. Abdul Rahim Al-Buqai, and the Director-General of the Banks Association, Maher Al-Mahrouq, that this meeting represents an important communication between the committee and prominent representatives of the private sector, aimed at understanding the functioning of economic sectors, as well as the impact of financial and monetary policies on the business environment.
In response to the remarks made by the representative of the Businessmen Association and the Director-General of the Banks Association, the members of parliament emphasized the need for more effective efforts to address the current financial and economic challenges. They stressed that these challenges require clear strategies focusing on improving the business environment, attracting investments, and achieving real economic stability.
