House speaker meets Egyptian, Iraqi counterparts in Cairo

AMMAN —Lower House Speaker Abdul Karim Dughmi met separately in Cairo with his Egyptian and Iraqi counterparts Hanafi Jibali and Mohammad al-Halbousi on the sidelines of the 32nd conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

A statement issued by the Lower House on Thursday, said that Dughmi and Jibali stressed the already advanced ties that bring together Amman and Cairo and the need to build on the outcomes of the trilateral summit that brought together  Jordan, Egypt and Iraq, which convened last year in Iraq.

Dughmi and al-Halbousi discussed the parliamentarian role in cementing the bilateral ties between the two countries, the statement added.
