Hundreds protest against cybercrime law

AMMAN — Today, following the Friday prayers, hundreds of Jordanians took part in a protest march in front of Al-Husseini Mosque in downtown Amman to denounce the draft cybercrime law, which was passed by the Lower House on Thursday.اضافة اعلان
The protest, organized by the coordinating committee, called on the King not to ratify the draft law if the Senate approves it.
Participants said the proposed law undermines political reform, and efforts of the Royal Commission to Modernize the political system adding that the bill is tantamount to martial law.
