AMMAN —
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Sunday
visited the Great Arab Revolt School and Al-Hussein School under the Directorate of
Education and Military Culture (DEMC), according to the Jordan News Agency, (Petra).

Huneiti was briefed about the
educational, technical, and administrative preparations which the directorate
provide for its students, including the makeup program which aims at preparing
students mentally and physically to return to schools.
The chairman also checked the
school’s logistical and educational readiness to welcome students to the new
schoolyear in light of the pandemic, calling for adherence to the health protocol and
taking the coronavirus vaccine.
Huneiti toured the schools’
facilities and met with a number of students and staff.
He also forwarded His
Majesty’s
King Abdullah’s greetings and congratulations for the beginning of
the new school year.
The chairman also lauded the
pioneering role of the directorate and its excellence in educating its students,
in addition to its active role in communicating with the local community
through development programs across the Kingdom.
The military education
directorate has been offering its services to about 21,345 students in 46 military
schools across the country.
