AMMAN — The Islamic Center Charitable Society (ICCS), a non-governmental social organization, has distributed meat of 10,000 sacrificed livestock to the needy orphans and low-income families in the Kingdom's governorates, cities, and villages, as part of its 2022 seasonal campaign, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

In a statement on Thursday, the ICCS's chairman, Jamil Dheisat, said this meat distribution campaign targeted more than a quarter million vulnerable people, adding that a key factor for its success is the community’s confidence in the ICCS’s performance, its "noble" solidarity mission and its keenness to meet parcels' quality conditions.

The ICCS, in cooperation with the community's partners, continues to achieve successes in various fields of its charitable work, which would reflect "positively" on society, he noted.

Thanking partners, he said their donations contributed to the campaign's success and lauded all the ICCS workers' "remarkable" efforts in its various centers countrywide, who worked throughout the Eid al-Adha days.
