IMF backs Jordan’s request for $200m loan

AMMAN — The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Wednesday expressed its support for the government’s augmentation of access request by $200 million, under an Extended Fund Facility (EFF) agreement between the two parties; in light of Jordan’s growing need for funding.اضافة اعلان

The IMF also concluded preliminary negotiations with the government regarding a second performance review of the Kingdom’s economic reform program, which is supported by the EFF and remains subject to the IMF executive council’s approval.
