international humanitarian law.

According to the Jordanian News Agency Petra, this statement was made during his meeting with the President and members of the Permanent Office, as well as the heads of blocs and
parliamentary committees in the
House of Representatives.
The purpose of the meeting was to brief them on the country's efforts, led by His Majesty King Abdullah, to halt the
aggression on Gaza and ensure the sustainable delivery of humanitarian aid.
Khasawneh emphasized the urgency of putting an end to the immunity and protection granted by Tel Aviv, which effectively allows the killing of Palestinian civilians. He pointed out that "international humanitarian law strictly forbids and condemns the targeting and
killing of civilians without exception," highlighting that any form of immunity or silence in the face of Israel's violations against Palestinian civilians amounts to a double standard.
He underlined that any attempts or conditions aimed at displacing Palestinians from Gaza or the West Bank are a red line, and Jordan would consider such actions as a "
declaration of war."
He further emphasized that the brutal assault did not distinguish between civilian and military targets, extending even to safe areas and ambulance vehicles.
Khasawneh explained that Jordan is keeping all options on the table, within the framework of a graduated approach, to address the Israeli aggression on Gaza and its consequences.
Khasawneh also noted that "since the first day of the war on Gaza, Jordan, under the leadership of
His Majesty King Abdullah II, has been making strenuous efforts to bring an end to the conflict and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip."
He commended the efforts of the armed forces in delivering medical aid to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza early in the morning.
